Scientific name: Panthera pardus

Location: China, India, Korea, sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East,  Siberia, and Southeast Asia.

Size: 1.7 metres long and weigh up to 80 kg

Life Span: 21 years in captivity, 10 years in the wild

Current Status: endangered, with the Bali, Javan, and Caspian tigers now extinct

Habitat: woodlands, plains, deserts, rain forests and shrubby areas
