Location: Canadia, Greenland

Size: up to 1.5m high, up to 2m long and weight up to 400kg

Life Span:  20 years

Current Status: not endangered

Habitat:  river valleys and higher areas where the snow is not too deep

Fast facts:
---they live in heards of up to 20 animals
---Diet: grasses, leaves, plants, lichens and mosses
---they form a defensive ring if attacked
---their main predator is the Arctic wolf
